This semester, on March 26th, more than 20 students met behind the structures lab for donuts and hot chocolate before heading over to help clean up BYU ITE's adopted section of State Street. Of the cleanup project one worker said, "We woke up bright and early on a Saturday morning to help “take pride in Utah” by cleaning our section of Highway 89 that we adopted. We thought it would be warm outside since there was no snow on the ground. We were wrong." He also commented, "A lot of orange bags were filled with trash, which must mean that there have been a lot of litterbugs in the area since our October cleanup!" |

Led by Service Coordinator Brad Brimley, the group made quick work of the job, and we look forward to doing it again next October. |
